![]() ![]() It's no problem to schedule a restart of the NAS. Qnap: TS-453 Pro 4.2.0 build 20160130 Connected over Gigabit Ethernet - not sure about port trunking Disks are RAID5, all four slots filled with 2TB WD Red drives Clients: Mac laptops running Mac OS 10.9-11 PC's running Windows 7/8.1/10 (mostly Pro editions) Most clients are connected to the network via Gigabit, but some go through 802.11n. When work activity is high the Qnap usually peaks at 50-67% CPU usage, with no less than 900 MB free memory. Accessing anything on the Qnap is slow, such as accessing files over Samba, or setting up permissions in the Qnap control panel. Not sure what causes it, but every other day now it will go into this slow phase and never leave until the unit is rebooted. My company is having a problem with our Qnap NAS being very slow at times.
